Lock out means that my keyboard/mouse is frozen, non-responsive until the "background tasks" have been completed. Possibly the problem started when I downloaded IE8. Supposedly it is up to date.Ĭan't remember when problem started, although seems recent, meaning not a year ago, but in past several months. My Norton product is Version 18.5.0.125 and is the security suite, I think. Does "system32" mean 32 bit? Also, have no other security system.
